Bereavement

Local Bereavement support

The Somerset End of Life Care and Bereavement Support website provides information, resources and education to all staff working across our county, and allows colleagues to demonstrate their continuing professional development.

Cruse

We help people through one of the most painful times in life – with bereavement support, information and campaigning.

Hope Again

Hope Again is the youth website of Cruse Bereavement Support. It is a safe place where you can learn from other young people, how to cope with grief, and feel less alone.

Scotty's Soldier

When that parent served in the Armed Forces, the impact is even greater with children often feeling they’ve lost their connection to the military community. Scotty’s Little Soldiers prevents that. Together, we can ensure the very best bereavement support remains available.

Sands

We are dedicated to providing emotional support and information right from the early hours after a baby's death, through to the weeks, months and years ahead. Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby.

Child Bereavement UK

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying.
